How is WayfarerSIM different from other eSIM brands?
We make the numbers easy to inspect before checkout. You see the total price, data allowance, validity period, and the selected plan’s terms before you pay. Fixed-data plans show the per-GB rate; unlimited plans show their daily high-speed allowance and reduced speed.

What if my eSIM does not connect when I land?
Contact support. We work through the phone, installation, eSIM activation, and local network in order so you are not randomly changing settings.
If the issue cannot be fixed, the next step depends on the terms saved with your order, the eSIM’s status, and what troubleshooting confirms. Eligible cases may move to a replacement, credit, or refund review. See how connection support works.
Will I keep my normal phone number?
Yes. Your normal SIM stays in your phone and WayfarerSIM installs alongside it as a second line for travel data. You do not have to remove your everyday SIM to install ours. Calls, texts, and roaming on your home line remain subject to your home carrier’s terms.
When does my plan start?
Your plan starts on first connection according to the plan’s activation terms, not simply because you bought the eSIM. Check those terms before installing so you can prepare at home instead of setting up after you land.
Can I use my eSIM as a hotspot?
Check the selected plan before you buy. Hotspot support and its usage rules can vary, particularly across unlimited plans. When hotspot is supported, connected devices use data under that plan’s allowance and speed rules.
What does “unlimited” actually mean?
Unlimited does not necessarily mean unlimited high-speed data. Each unlimited plan shows its daily high-speed allowance. After that allowance is used, data continues at the reduced speed shown for that plan until the daily high-speed allowance resets. Compare unlimited plan terms.
Do I have to swap SIM cards at the airport?
No. Buy before the trip and scan the QR code on Wi-Fi at home. WayfarerSIM installs digitally, so there is no airport SIM counter and no piece of plastic to swap.
Can I add more data during my trip?
Yes, where the selected plan supports top-ups. Use your trip page to add data to the same eSIM profile, without scanning another QR code.
How do I know whether my phone is compatible?
Check the exact phone before you pay. Your phone needs eSIM support and must be unlocked for another carrier. The same model name can have different hardware depending on where it was originally sold. Review the model and regional guidance before buying.
Can I get a refund if something goes wrong?
Refund eligibility depends on the plan terms saved with your order, whether the eSIM has been installed or activated, whether data has been used, and the reason for the request.
